Agung Wicaksono*

Agung Wicaksono serves as Director of Business Transformation and Sustainability at PT Pertamina (Persero), based on the Decree of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises and the President Director of PT Danantara Asset Management, as Shareholders of PT Pertamina (Persero), Number SK-149/MBU/06/2025, Number SK.011/DI-DAM/DO/2025 dated June 12, 2025, regarding the Dismissal, Changes in Position Nomenclature, Transfer of Duties and Appointment of Members of the Board of Directors of the Company PT Pertamina (Persero)

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in 2000. He then pursued a master’s degree, earning two Master’s degrees: one in International Production Management from the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg (2002) and another in Global Technology Management from the Northern Institute of Technology, Hamburg (2002). He also earned a Doctorate in International Management from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland (2009).

In addition as the Senior Professional Engineer from the Indonesian Engineers Association in 2021, Agung previously served as Deputy for Finance and Investment at the Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) (2023–2025), Managing Director of PT Jababeka Infrastruktur (2021–2023), President Director of PT Transportasi Jakarta (2018–2020), and Director of Operations and Maintenance at PT MRT Jakarta (2016–2018). During Indonesia’s G20 presidency in 2022, Agung served as Deputy Chair of the Energy, Sustainability & Climate Task Force at the B20 (Business Twenty).

Agung also has experience in the government sector as a member of the Oil and Gas Governance Reform Team (2014-2015) and Deputy Chair of the National Electricity Development Program Implementation Unit (UP3KN) at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (2015-2016), and Expert Assistant to the Presidential Work Unit – Supervision & Control of Development/UKP4 of the United Indonesia Cabinet II (2009–2014).

Agung has academic experience as a Lecturer at the School of Business & Management (SBM), Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) (2008-2021), serving as Deputy Director of MBA, SBM ITB Jakarta (2008-2010), Research Associate at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) Singapore, Visiting Scholar at the Wee Kim Wee Center at Singapore Management University, and Research Assistant at the Asia Research Center (ARC) at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland (2004–2007). He began his career as a management consultant at A.T. Kearney, Ernst & Young, and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants (2002–2004).
