Meizani Irmadhiany brings over 18 years of leadership experience across environmental, social, and business sectors in Indonesia and Asia-Pacific. Currently serving as Special Staff to the coordinating minister for Food and Chair of the Secretariat for Indonesia’s Steering Committee for Implementation of Carbon Economic Values Instrument and National Greenhouse Gas EmissionControl, she drives climate policy alignment and implementation at the national level.
In parallel, she serves as Senior Vice President and Executive Chair at Konservasi Indonesia, leading biodiversity protection, sustainable development, and community well-being initiatives. Additional roles include Impact Advisor for the Asia Climate-Smart Landscape Facility (ACLF), Expert Council Member of ISOI (2025–2027), member of the IAPB Inclusion and Equity Working Group, and Advisory Board member for the BEKAL Pemimpin Program.
Earlier in her career, she was Co-Lead for Asia Pacific at Conservation International and led the issuance of Asia’s first corporate sustainable bond in 2018. She holds a degree in Global Studies and Political Science from the University of Minnesota and is an alumna of the United in Diversity / MIT Sloan IDEAS 2012 program.
