Prior to his role at SKK Migas since 2018, Dwi served as the President Director of state-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina (Persero) from 2014 to 2017. His extensive experience positions him as a key influencer in Indonesia’s energy landscape.

Dwi’s outstanding contributions have been recognized with more than 170 individual and company awards at national and international levels. Notably, he was awarded Asia’s Best CEO at the 6th Asian Excellence Award 2016, organized by Asia’s Corporate Governance Magazine, for his leadership in the energy sector.

We are thrilled to announce Hiroki Sato, Senior Managing Executive Officer and Division CEO of Global Business, Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc., as a confirmed speaker at the 2nd IICCS Forum 2024!

Sato-san embarked on his business career in 1985 by joining Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. Throughout his career, he has had several unique experiences, including being sent to the Indonesian state-owned oil and gas company, PT Pertamina (Persero), as a trainee.

He also served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan as the Second Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in the UAE. Additionally, Sato-san was one of the founding members of JERA, a joint venture between Chubu and Tokyo Electric Power since 2015.

Peter serves as the chief representative of the Energy Institute (EI) in the Asia Pacific region. The UK-headquartered EI’s membership increasingly reflects the growing spectrum of energy professionals throughout the sector with an ever-increasing focus on navigating the energy transition.

Despite his extensive career in the oil and gas sector, notably with BP in upstream oil and gas and in energy finance, Peter has emerged as a vocal proponent for steering the energy sector towards a cleaner and more sustainable future. Actively engaged in business development initiatives, Peter is dedicated to expediting the advancement of engineered carbon sequestration solutions, with a specific focus on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS). His efforts extend to fostering the growth of low-carbon industrial clusters.
